About Kindness Corner
What is Kindness Corner
The Kindness Corner is an early childhood educational program which focuses on social emotional learning through music, children’s literature, friendly puppets and sign language. The themes introduced in each episode encourage, guide and support children to share and express their feelings and emotions.
The goal of the program is to create a positive and nurturing environment to help promote self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness and decision-making skills.
Lynette Olsen
Lynette Olsen has been an educator for over 30 years. She has a master’s degree in Special Education and a bachelor’s degree in Early Elementary Education.
Lynette has had the honor of teaching in private, public, homeschool, preschool, college and sign language classrooms. Lynette implements and utilizes social emotional learning skills in all her classroom settings.
