Breakwater Lighthouse

Built in 1902, it guided vessels safely into the harbor and remains an iconic symbol of the area's maritime heritage. Today, the lighthouse is preserved as a scenic landmark and is open to visitors during the warmer months.
Where does Lynette Teach?
Mrs. Lynette Olsen is a dedicated early elementary educator at Appleton Village School in Appleton, Maine. Her teaching approach reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing both academic excellence and strong community values.

Lynette Olsen is an energetic and outdoorsy educator who enjoys staying active year-round. In the winter, she loves hitting the slopes for a day of skiing, and during the warmer months, you’ll often find her jogging local trails or hiking Maine’s scenic landscapes. A dedicated New England sports fan, she also enjoys relaxing on Sundays to cheer on the New England Patriots.
